Naomi Wokie Thomas, a radiant and beautiful spirit, departed this world far too soon on November 9, 2023, at the tender age of 5. Born on February 26, 2018, at Women and Infants Hospital, Naomi brought immense joy to her family. Naomi affectionately referred to herself as a princess.

She is survived by her father, Siafa Thomas, and mother, Fatu Dorley Thomas. Naomi was the beloved granddaughter of Jebeh Thomas and Kulah Dukuly, the cherished sister to Grace Thomas, Janet Thomas, Siafa Thomas, Joseph Thomas and the adored aunt of Esther A. Wratto and Murphy Thomas. Naomi is predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandfathers, the late Momo Dorley, the late Joseph Thomas, and her sister Praise Thomas.

In the brief time Naomi spent at Reservoir Avenue Elementary School in Kindergarten, she left an indelible mark on the hearts of her teachers and classmates. Her enthusiasm for learning and the pure joy she radiated brightened the school corridors each day.

Naomi's favorite song, Songs of Angels "Ndi Mo Zi" by Judikay, was a beautiful reflection of her kind soul. Her favorite pastime included her love of Coco Melon. Naomi leaves behind her loving family, including a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, and friends, all of whom are deeply touched by her early departure.
Though Naomi's time on Earth was tragically cut short, her memory will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. As we mourn her passing, let us remember the joy she brought into the lives of all who were fortunate to know her.

A viewing and service to celebrate Naomi's life will be held on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island 02865, from 10am to 12 noon. The burial will follow at Pawtuxet Memorial Park, 100 Harrison Avenue, Warwick, RI 02888.

In accordance with the family's wishes, there will be no repass.

May Naomi rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the heavenly melodies and the vibrant colors she so adored.
